I'm looking for emerging/surfaced/still-underwater artists to join Imago
Imago is a free and open internet platform. Our goals are :
- Showcasing and promoting curated works in and outside the platform
- Prioritizing artistic quality over quantity
- Helping artists sell via a dedicated online-shop
- Fostering a diverse and strong community
- Building an independent network
No fees, no percentage cut, no shady investors, no art-washing. Just art.

Why would you care ?
As an artist, you would benefit from the support of the platform to extend your network and make your work more and more visible.
Like stated above, you will not pay a thing for it ; all we need is your involvement and enthusiasm.
This platform being also oriented towards selling art, you potentially benefit from the full revenues of your work. That is also the of point of interconnecting people here :
together, we can (and we want to) reach out to a wider audience than we could possibly do on our own.
Accepted artworks
As a starting point, we want to focus on artworks done using means of manual reproduction / image alteration / modifications / deconstruction.
We welcome artists reflecting on the status, role and depth of images in their practice and through the techniques used (repro, manual print, photo, etching, collage... )
Small to medium formats are prefered.
( Please have also in mind that we aim to keep it accessible in terms of price range, thus the restricted choices of mediums and formats.)
How to apply
Please fill this form with the required infos (a short bio, a short "motivation text" and at least one hyperlink where some of your works can be viewed)...and submit it !
As far a the selection process goes, we aim to create a harmonious yet varied whole, so, providing your work fits the "accepted artworks" guidelines (see paragraph above), it is quite open !
There will be 10-15 open slots first. This number might grow later on as the website grows.
If we think your work suits the whole, but all slots are already full, I might put you (upon agreeance) in a "waiting" folder for the future.
That way, we keep your infos for the next round of the open call, and you get straight in without having to submit an application form again.
The current deadline to answer the call is march 15th 2025, 23:00. After this date, applications will be closed.
